Veg*n for 40 years. Massage therapist, aerobics instructor and strength-trainer. I've created a powerpoint called, "An Inconvenient Food: The Link Between Animal Agriculture, Environmental Degradation and Global Warming" which is in the process of being updated. The most recent event I coordinated was the Food Track at the Sustainability Summit in Portsmouth, NH, November 2009. Organized a panel discussion on healthy school lunch options which was moderated by Harvey Zarren, MD, plus a lecture by a vegan R.D. from Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine. Obtained a generous grant from VegFund.org and provided a vegan lunch for 100+ attendees.
